our Pastors

  • Mark Mincy, Pastor-Teacher, and his wife, Tricia, were married in 1994. God has blessed them with 5 children. Prior to coming to Cornerstone, he spent many years in the corporate world before entering vocational ministry by serving with New York Gospel Ministries in New York City and then as Pastor of Waterville Baptist Church in Waterville, NY. He serves on the board of New York Gospel Ministries which allows him to stay connected to the hometown of his beloved New York Yankees. He has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Management from Bob Jones University, and a Master's degree in Bible from Luther Rice University. The Mincys came to Cornerstone in February of 2014, and Mark assumed the Teaching Pastor role in July of 2015.
  • Jonathan Chadbourn, Pastor of Education. Jonathan grew up in western Kansas, the son of a pastor. Seeing his family in ministry God developed a deep love for the church within Jonathan that has grown through the years. He and his wife, Sarah, were married in 2003 and God has blessed them with 5 kids. They have worked together to strengthen the church wherever the Lord has taken them in ministry. First, to Paris, France to work as church planters, then to Paw Paw, IL to pastor a rural church, then to Morton, IL to work in the home office of a missions agency. Jonathan joined the pastoral staff in 2019 and he and Sarah carry a great burden to see people conformed to Christ through teaching, discipleship, and counseling. He is unable to forget his roots, cheering for the Kansas Jayhawks, and the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals.
